How the experience works
Choose Share a thought, put a feeling into words, and tap Let it drift. The release is symbolic: your words are not sent to a person, server, AI, or the Universe. Share again starts a new, empty editor.
Why did my draft disappear?
Into Aether clears your draft when you release it, leave the writing experience, or the app loses focus—including during interruptions. This protects your privacy. Messages aren't saved or uploaded, and cannot be recovered.
About reflections
Reflections are optional lines written in advance and selected on your device. They appear only when requested and are not personal replies.
Screenshots and recording
Screen-capture protection is intentional. Into Aether also obscures sensitive content when it loses focus. If required protection cannot be enabled, writing is paused.
Device compatibility
The current iPhone and iPad build requires iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later on supported hardware. If TestFlight reports an incompatible device, check Settings → General → About and Software Update.
Finding Support
The app links to independent support services in India, the United States, and an international directory. Opening one leaves the app; your draft is never sent to the service.
Into Aether and this support inbox are not crisis services. No one receives or monitors your writing, and this inbox is not an emergency response channel. If you need immediate help, contact local emergency services or an appropriate local support service.
